Modern Omega Seamaster Bullhead Chronograph Limited Editions
Modern Omega Seamaster Bullhead Chronograph Limited Editions
Omega Seamaster Bullhead Chronograph – Overview
-
Nickname: “Bullhead” because of its unusual case shape — pushers are at 12 o’clock and the crown is at 12 (sometimes also a crown at 6), resembling a bull’s head.
-
First Release: 1969 (Reference 146.011), originally marketed for rally drivers.
-
Purpose: Optimized for timing laps/rallies; top-mounted pushers made it easier to use with hands on a steering wheel.
-
Movement: Early versions used Caliber 930, a manually wound chronograph movement.
